 Name: Liam BellFrom: Grimsby, Lincolnshire, UK Nationality: British Age: 17 Current Playing Handicap 0.9 My first introduction to golf came at the tender age of two. My Mum and Dad bought me a set of plastic clubs and I have loved the game ever since. At six my Dad took me to Forrest Pines Golf Club where he worked , I played nine holes and completed them in 62 shots. From then upto the age of ten my Dad and I played together on local 9 hole courses. At ten years old I joined Cleethorpes Golf Club, my fist playing handicap was 28. This did not last long, under the close supervision and coaching of Paul Davis the club profesional my handicap came tumbling down.I won my first junior club title at 12 and I was Junior Club Champion at 13. Over the last three years I have won many competitions at both club and county level. My best achievment to date is winning THe Midland Boys under 16 Championship. |
